Hiten Parmar’s first position with the United States Postal Service was carrying mail in the city of Saint Petersburg in 2002, later moving to the St. Petersburg P&DC as a Mail Handler.

He first worked in a management role at the Tampa P&DC. After graduating from the Associate Supervisor Program (ASP), he was promoted to Supervisor, Distribution Operations at Manasota P&DC.

In July of 2008, Hiten gained experience in Delivery & Retail Operations with a promotion to Supervisor, Customer Service in Tampa.

In 2010, his career took a directional change when he joined Sales and has gradually increased levels with greater responsibility. Hiten’s positions include Business Solutions Specialist, Sr. Business Solutions Specialist, Mailing Solutions Specialist, Senior Sales Executive – Mailing, and Senior Sales Executive Major Account. Hiten’s current role is Strategic Account Manager where he works with the Postal Service’s top tier and national strategic accounts.

Because of his diverse Postal background across multiple departments, Hiten has a comprehensive understanding of Postal Operations, Mailing & Shipping Services, Customer Service, Delivery and Sales. This has proved critical in providing solutions to customers and in retaining revenue for USPS.

Hiten earned his Associate Degree from Saint Petersburg College and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Florida in both Business & Marketing.  Hiten makes his home in St. Petersburg Florida with his wife and three children.
